Advanced Wound Care

Non-healing wounds on the feet and ankles require more than just a bandage; they require specialized medical intervention. Our wound care program focuses on accelerating the body’s natural healing process to treat chronic sores and prevent serious complication

wound

Comprehensive Assessment: We evaluate the root cause of the wound, whether it is caused by pressure, poor circulation, or trauma, to create a customized treatment plan.

Debridement & Cleaning: Our team performs clinical debridement to remove unhealthy tissue and bacteria, which is essential for stimulating the growth of healthy new skin.

Infection Control: We provide targeted antibiotic therapy and medical-grade dressings to eliminate infection and protect the site from further contamination.

Pressure Offloading: To allow a wound to heal, the pressure must be removed from the area. We utilize custom inserts, surgical shoes, or specialized casts to "offload" weight and speed recovery.

MLS Laser Therapy: For many patients, we incorporate MLS Laser Therapy to increase blood flow and reduce inflammation, significantly shortening the time it takes for a wound to close.

When to Seek Immediate Care
Wounds on the feet can escalate quickly. Patients should book an appointment immediately if they notice:

A sore or blister that has not improved in two weeks.

Drainage, redness, or a foul odor coming from the site.

Skin that feels hot to the touch or appears dark/discolored around the wound.
